St. Patrick's Day

Today is a celebration!!! Forty-seven years ago I was in a Salt Lake hospital with life threatening complications from appendicitis. My mother sat by my bed and never left me for days even though she had just suffered a miscarriage. My brothers were in Vernal with my grandparents and my dad was a patient in the same hospital. You might ask why today is a celebration. It's simple..... I am alive and well. This holiday always causes me to reflect on how much I have to be grateful for, most of all LIFE!

Piano Duet

Today was the Federation Piano Duet Festival. Carter and his duet partner, Brant have been playing the piano for just 2 years. They have played together in the duet festival twice. After lots and lots and lots of practice they received a superior!!!!

Preference

.....the dance, not "a greater liking for one alternative over another or others." Okay, so the dance was this last weekend. The day included an indoor picnic lunch and games followed by pictures and dinner (at our house) and then the dance.




This time I made Kaitlynn's dress. I had a lot fun making it and I think we both liked the outcome. I think she's beautiful!

Ann's Mexico Trip

In early February Ann traveled to Quintana Roo Mexico. While she was there, she visited the pre-Columbian Maya ruins of Tulum. She had fun site seeing, shopping, sitting in the sun and taking a break from her job at Radio Shack.

Cousins

Peggy has told me that when she sees pictures of Finn she is taken back by how much he and Keifer look alike. So while Marissa and Finn were here recently we got the boys together. What do you think?

Like a Holiday

In recent years, the men in Ryan's family take a snowmobiling trip to the Strawberry Valley. This year he brought Jenna home along with Marissa and Finn for a visit before his trip. The girls and I had a great time and we all had a lot of fun with Finn.

Carter and I share a birthday so I always try to get a picture of us together to mark the event!
